Nice "wood"

I bought mine a couple weeks ago, and gotta say, "I'm impressed." Its light, stiff, and most importantly, doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I love that I can get a high quality, current model stick for a 100 bucks, without digging through the closeout section of the online retailers looking for my blade, hand, flex combo.

The only downside I can pick is that the shaft has grippy material on it that is so sticky dust will stick to it, ruining the otherwise pristine all black look. That's really nit-picking though...Overall its a great stick, and I'll be buying another one!

Thumbs up

Definitely a stick I would recommend. Super light compared to my others, seems durable enough after a few games - I'm pretty liberal with my stick and it only has the usual scuffs and scratches. Another review mentioned lack of grip, which is true, there's no real grip to it, but it's nothing some cloth tape can't fix. The Twig is legit.

Solid Stick, Great Value

I received this stick around Christmas 2015 and have used it in a bunch of pickup games and seven upper tier beer league games since then - it's been awesome.

First, it's light. It makes my other lightweight sticks feel heavy. It may not be the lightest stick on the market, but if you've been using any stick in the $100 - $190 price range that calls itself "lightweight," chances are the Twig is comparatively light or lighter.

Second, it feels like a tank. I've stayed away from carbon sticks because they've always felt fragile to me and for the higher cost, I just didn't want to take the risk. Twig takes the risk out of it by pricing these sticks at less than what I've been paying for my other sticks. I haven't been terribly nice to this stick either and it has held up great to hard slappers, scrambles in the crease, poke checks... and the occasional frustrated whack against the post.

Third, it's a steal. Even at full retail of $109, to get an equivalently light carbon stick is going to run you at least $40 more unless you come across one on clearance somewhere.

If you're in the market for a new goalie stick that won't break the bank but will give you performance equivalent to sticks that cost at least 50% more, I'd recommend giving Twig Hockey Co. a shot!

Grip?

I won't get into the details about how I feel about the stick as every player has their own preferences so mine may differ from the next guy. I do want to say that this stick has absolutely NO grip whatsoever. I noticed it doesn't say that in the description anymore but I purchased 2 of these sticks from the Indiegogo campaign and I don't use either because of this. It stated Grip but there's non at all. One stick I have is still in it's new plastic wrapping and they both aren't being used.

Took a chance on this...really glad I did

I'd never heard of this company but liked the idea so I bought a 20 flex for my son. Great decision! He loves it and thinks it looks "cool." Definitely recommend this for youth players.
