Best bag yet

I have used this bag for the last few weeks and I have to say, hands down, this is the best goalie bag I have had yet. I debated going back to a carry bag as I have had carry bags, wheeled bags and then the Grit Sumo Tower, and I am glad I did.

The bag is not clunky or extremely heavy (before loading) like many bags out there. The mesh vents on both ends are great (although I hang my stuff up after each skate) but does allow for a ton of ventilation. The materials all appear to be great quality and are holding up well.

Priority for me when looking for a bag was room for all my stuff and this bag has that in spades.

Basically, if you like to organize your bag and know where everything is, this is a great bag. If you want to toss it all in there, I would think you are crazy but you can do that too.

I recommend this bag to anyone goalie and have convinced a couple goalie buddies to make the switch.

Things I like!

- The two zipper pockets on the outside are amble for tape, scissors, wax, extra helmet snaps and miscellaneous stuff.

- The zippered pocket that doubles as the top also is massive. I cut out (easily almost as if it was designed for this) the thin divider panel so that I could have a pass through. Given it does get a bit bulky but I keep three jerseys, two sets of socks, all my dry cloths (top, bottom and socks) and a shower towel in there.

- The main compartment is also massive and I can easily fit all of my stuff in there (blocker, glove, helmet, L chesty, XL pants, jock, neck guard, oversized knee pads, etc). Haven’t fit my 35+2 pads in yet and closed it but I think I could.

- Excellent mesh storage pockets on the front face of the inside allows for more storage (I keep a roller ball and pad wax in one, shower stuff and sandles in the other two).

- Skate pockets are awesome. Super big. I ended up putting both skates in one and just folding the other closed.

Points to improve. Not that I have many complaints but I would recommend the following mods (hopefully by the manufacture or buy the user).

- Remove the liner in the top flap. Just make it a pass through.

- The strap closures on the skate pockets are way too long. Honestly just remove them because the pockets are big enough and your gear will keep stuff secure.

- Remove the water bottle holder. It gets in the way because it is floating on the end panel and not seated on the bottom of the bag.

- Skate pockets are massive, either scale them down or cut one out. Ideally they would be removable with snaps and could be an option to keep or remove.

- Carry straps are super long but there is no way to tie them or control them. I used tape. Also the padded strap add on is a nice cushion but falls off because you have to unsnap it completely each time you open the bag. If it could secure somehow to one strap would be ideal.

Great Stick!

As good as any $300 off the shelf stick I've had. Definitely be buying again.

Good product.

I am comparing this stick to leading brands which are the same weight as I did a tone of review before taking a chance on twig. I was not disappointed. Considering the cost of a twig is about $100 less for a similar product. So far very happy with this item and intent to buy one for my 2nd stick as well likely 2 for my spouse. At this price point you really can’t beat it (Rogue A).

Extremely lightweight stick!

My 9 yr old son loves how light this stick is along with how responsive it is when shooting. Great price point also.

Great stick great price

First game with my Rogue today and it didn't disappoint. There's something to be said for the weapon a mediocre player weilds... (I had a good game) credit to my new Twig!

New Customer

Tremendous value in these sticks. Curve matches perfectly to TC2/E3/Hall. Low kick point on the Dispatch gets the pick up in close. Lightest stick on the market at this price point. If it proves to be durable, I’ll go back to the well on this one….

Solid alternative to name brands

Have a month on my Dispatch A. Definitely working well. Switching from a namebrand pro stick as I was getting tired of the cost hit every time they broke. This one is a solid replacement, just ordered a second to keep handy.

Rogue A

I ordered the wrong player curve by accident although I wanted the PM9 I did try to use the P28 and it felt pretty solid its just not my curve
Apparently you can't get a PM9 in 100 flex so I think I'm going to stick to my usual over priced name brand stick for now.

Twig Rogue Intermediate

Daughter seems to like the new stick, lighter than her old Bauer.
End cap fell out as soon as she took the stick out of the bag, won't stay in. Will have to cover it with tape.

Hands Down the Best Twig has

I don't know what they have done. I have owned every Twig stick other than the DEUX. I currently have the Dispatch A, Rogue and Rogue A (Bought the A because I broke my other Rogue) . Took it out this afternoon for the first time and it even beat out what I thought about the Rogue LE. The responsiveness, and just the velocity from the pop I could get off this stick no matter what I shot was crazy. I started with this then thought maybe it was because I hadn't played for 8 days so grabbed the old rogue and it was a night and day difference. I will still be using my rogue for my lower level league I play in since I won't be upset if it breaks, Everything about this stick has been drastically improved on. Even the feel of the puck when puck handling was so much better. I have been recommending TWIG to as many people as I can (and have converted a few) Glad a friend who was helping me with Hockey got the DEUX when he did or I may have never tried them.
