Part Deux of our junior/youth line's pro-quality build is lighter, tougher, and has more pop than it's predecessor. Age appropriate flex and length pairings and one-piece carbon junior size construction make it the best choice for your player.

Did you know a stick's flex increases approximately 10 for every 2 inches cut off the shaft? Could you shoot with a stick that bends like a steel rod?
That is why we worked with top engineers to develop a hockey stick with better fitting flexes and lengths for young players under 120 pounds that promotes properly learning to flex, load, and shoot.
20 Flex | 47" Tall | 250g
30 Flex | 52" Tall | 270g
40 Flex | 56" Tall | 290g
50 Flex | 58" Tall | 345g
To best fit to your child, there are two steps.
1. Start first with flex. Divide their weight by 2 and select the closest flex without going over.
Example: Target flex for a 54 pound player would be the closet to 27 without going over (The 20 Flex.)
2. Ensure the stick height on the chosen flex stick is adequate. Without skates on, experts recommend a stick that touches underneath the nose but no lower than bottom of the chin when stood upright, shaft perpendicular to the ground. If it's too short, go to the next flex/length up. If too long, consider the next size down or cutting down the shaft (the latter will increase the flex though.)

The best stick for young players
We’ve tried several hockey sticks for our 6 year old hockey loving son - CCM, Bauer, Warrior, Sherwood, Zeal, Battle Mode, and then finally TWIG. Our search for the perfect stick is over! The 20 flex is perfect for him, he loves the feel of the stick and the weight (or lack thereof). Most importantly, he is consistently going top shelf both forehand and backhand, building his confidence. Thank you for making a great product!!!!
Nice lightweight stick
This is a pretty nice stick for the money! It is lightweight and they offer good flex options. My son loves it and wants another. Only reason for 4 stars is the heel has de-laminated after a few games from a 10 year olds abuse!
Peewee loves it
My son has really enjoyed his Twig. He's told his teammates about it as well.
As good as any stick on the market
My son is 10 and played all year with a CCM RBZ FT1.. Found Twig online and bought one to give him to play on the outside rink we have...He loved the look so much he brought it to practice, then played a game with it and score 3 goals....Needless to say the CCM hasn't touched the ice since !!! will buy again for sure
Better than Raven
My daughter loves this stick. She’s been using it for three months and it’s by far the best stick she’s had (used Warrior and Raven before). She really likes the matte grip feel and likes the size of the blade. She’s hooked. We’ll be buying more. Thanks Twig!
